Lily Nathanson is an experienced Customer Success Manager with a passion for helping others, both inside and outside of work. During her four years in attending Hamilton College, she developed a strong interest in Psychology and has since learned how to incorporate many important aspects of the discipline into her career to improve client relationships. Lily is a genuine people person at heart, always demonstrating a positive attitude towards her work and towards others.
Lily graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a minor in Psychology. Throughout her college career, she thoroughly enjoyed her coursework and was even able to make the Dean’s List several times. Lily regularly looks for ways to improve herself and to advance in her career. She has become technically proficient in systems that are relevant to the field of Customer Success, including Salesforce, ClientSuccess, Zendesk, and JIRA, to name a few. She is also proficient in French and Italian, after studying both languages for several years and living abroad in Florence, Italy.
Lily first became interested in the study of Psychology during college. She was drawn to pursuing the degree as a minor because she had always been interested in human behavior and interactions. Learning more about why people do the things that they do has always fascinated her, and she decided to learn as much as she could about the subject while studying at Hamilton. Applying what she has learned came naturally to Lily, as she is inherently a quick study and an affable people person. These natural strengths have allowed Lily to flourish personally in her relationships with both friends and family, as well to better understand her clients’ needs in her work as a Customer Success Manager.
Lily Nathanson has consistently dedicated herself towards her professional and personal growth since graduating Hamilton in 2011. She worked her way up from Associate Media Planner to the Media Supervisor level at a digital ad agency between the years of 2011 and 2015, before advancing in 2016 to a Customer Success Manager role in the software technology space. With each new position she accepted, she took on more responsibilities and continued to flourish while making positive contributions to each company and, more importantly, to her clients. Lily still works in Customer Success within the software technology space, remaining deeply focused on nurturing and expanding her existing client relationships.
In recent years, Lily has had to personally tap into the lessons she learned in studying Psychology to aid in her own self-healing after her father passed away tragically in 2012 due to complications from a car crash. Shortly after his death, Lily employed some of the coping mechanisms she had learned during her Psychology courses in college and began writing a book about her dad. Lily has since started an online blog where she has previewed some of the chapters she has written for all to see. Each chapter is meant as a tribute to a lesson she learned from her father that has had a significant impact on her life.
